E-Waste to Exceed 93.5 Million Tons Annually

The use of electronics good in our life is increasing every year and people can’t give up the feeling of using the electronics in daily use for example, your Smartphone, TV, Headphones, Computer and accessories, which are releasing ton of carbon in the Environment . Electronic recycling is forecasted to grow to 24 percent through all over the decade and newly made report, which states that, the global recycling business which works under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipments directive, was valued about $9.84 billion back in 2012. The WEE legislation is proposed in order to maintain the proper dump the electronic waste without hurting the Environment. It really helping the technological and illegal issues in the IT and Non IT sectors where the electronic equipments are at high use and it helping to grow to the market because lack of the recycling consciousness and authoritarian has caused us a threat of 4 percent of global landfill mass which contains the 75 percent of environment hazard material.
Geographically, Europe dominated the e-waste recycling market followed by North America in 2012. The European recycling rate is slightly higher than North America due to efficient approach to recycling guided by two directives; RoHS Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Most of the e-waste from developed countries was imported to developing countries such as India, China and Pakistan due to cheap labor and no mandatory recycling regulations.

A safe recycling is very important in order to protect our environment because Developed countries like US and UK are dumping their E-waste illegally in growing countries like India, China and Africa are facing the heat generated by these Equipments but the reports say that the awareness in the dumping E-waste in increasing.
